About Us

Established in 1975 by a small group of 4x4 enthusiasts, today the club has over 150 members with a plethora of vehicle makes and models.

If you enjoy getting out into nature, touring, camping, socialising and exploring the wide brown land we call home then why not join up, we’ll love to have you.

Take a few moments to look through the site and see the great adventures that we get up to. Port Macquarie is on the door step to spectacular topology and an abundance of stunning natural wonders, just waiting to be discovered by you.

Come along to a club meeting held on the third Monday of each month and introduce yourself.  Meetings are held in a friendly atmosphere and finish up with a cuppa and a chat.

The aim of the Club is to promote and encourage each other whilst enjoying everything the great outdoors has on offer.

Our Slice of Nature

Trips are organised by club members and range from a nice weekend drive to a lookout or Nature Reserve to week long treks across ragged mountain ranges and sweeping plains. Trips are graded from 1 to 5, with 1 being a scenic drive with little to no off-roading, while 5 is difficult hands on 4x4ing with recovery equipment essential.

Driver awareness training is provided for all club members, and friendly advice and assistance is also there if you need it. All club vehicles must at all times carry rated recovery equipment and a first aid kit, as well as be fitted with a UHF radio and front and rear recovery points.
